Overview
The Golden Triangle Tour with Ayodhya is a 10-day journey that takes you to some of India's most iconic destinations. Starting in Delhi, you'll visit the Taj Mahal in Agra and the Pink City of Jaipur, a sacred city for Hindus and Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India, before heading to Ayodhya. Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi Arrival
Upon arrival at Delhi airport you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may explore the vibrant bazaar of Chandni Chowk filled with food, sweets and many others. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Post breakfast get ready for Delhi sightseeing here you visit the Lotus Temple built in the shape of petals of a Lotus where you, Red Fort built using red sandstones was the residence of Mughals for many years, RajGhat was made to commemorate the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, India Gate made to honour soldiers who died during wars and Jantar Mantar which is a great place for astronomy lovers. Later visit to Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar one of the tallest masonry minarets with a mosque at the foot of the minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
Post breakfast leave for Agra. Upon arrival at Agra, check in at your hotel. Rest at the hotel for some time, and later visit Itmad-ud-Daulah and Agra Fort. The evening is free for shopping at the market of Agra. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Agra - Jaipur
Early in the morning before sunrise enjoy the guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Jaipur for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, head over to the Amer Fort to have an elephant ride from the ramp of the fort. Perched atop a hill, it offers breathtaking views of Maota Lake and the Fort's enthralling reflection in the water. Visit Hawa Mahal, which was constructed to resemble the crown of the Hindu Lord Krishna, City Palace, which is made up of Mubarak Mahal, which provides a lovely view of the surroundings, Chandra Mahal, which is now a museum, which houses various artefacts about the king, and Jantar Mantar, one of the biggest observatories in India. Go back to your hotel for a night stay.
Day 6: Jaipur - Varanasi
After breakfast, transfer you to Jaipur airport to board a flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi transfer you to the hotel in Varanasi. Relax at the hotel, later explore the city and visit various ghats, sacred temples and the local market of Varanasi. Later in the evening attend Aarti on the bank of River Ganges. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Varanasi Sightseeing
Take a boat trip on the Ganges early in the morning. Then, go to Akhara to witness the traditional martial arts practised there. A morning tour of Varanasi's downtown includes a stroll around the many holy Ghats. See the revered shrine of Kashi, which is devoted to Vishwanath and Bharat Mata Mandir, which is a modest temple honouring 'Mother India'. Afterward, travel to Sarnath, a significant Buddhist site and pay a visit to the Chaukhandi Stupa, the Archeological Museum and the Dhamekha Stupa. Attend the nighttime aarti on the Varanasi Ganges River bank. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 8: Varanasi - Ayodhya
Proceed to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram, following breakfast at the hotel. After arriving, check into the hotel and proceed to the holy Sarayu River, where many pilgrims bathe in a hallowed place. Afterward, pay a visit to Shri Ram Janam Bhumi, the birthplace of Lord Rama, who is revered as the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu's seventh avatar. Visit Kanak Bhawan, Dashrath Mahal, Hanuman Garhi Mandir and Ram Katha Sangrahalay, among other significant places in Ayodhya, later on. The remainder of the day is free. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 9: Ayodhya - Lucknow - New Delhi
After breakfast, transfer you to Lucknow airport to board a flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival at New Delhi airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Departure from Delhi
In the morning as per your flight timing, our representative will transfer you to the New Delhi airport to board the flight to onward destination.
