A Golden triangle tour with Khajuraho and Varanasi will begin with the capital of India- Delhi and then it will head you to the City of Love-Agra, it will display you the most amazing forts and palaces in Jaipur and then lead you to beautiful temples of Khajuraho and then to the city of Lord Shiva-Varanasi.
Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi
As soon as you will arrive at Delhi airport you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi
Post breakfast you will visit Lotus Temple built in shape of petals of Lotus where you can meditate for hours in peace, Red Fort built using red sandstones and was residence of Mughals for many years, Rajghat made to commemorate Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, India Gate made to honor soldiers who died during wars and Jantar Mantar which is a great place for astronomy lovers. Later on pay a visit at Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar one of the tallest masonry minaret with a mosque at foot of minar and explore the vibrant bazaar of Chandni Chowk filled with food, sweets and many other. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur
Post breakfast you will be transferred to Jaipur-pink city. On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day enjoying the things you do. Night stay will be in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur
Post breakfast you will visit Amer Fort and enjoy an Elephant ride at the Fort ramp. It is situated on a hilltop and overlooks Maota Lake where you will be spellbound by the reflection of the Fort in the lake. It comprises many palaces. Further visit, Hawa Mahal- built-in shape of the crown of Hindu Lord Krishna, City Palace- which comprises Mubarak Mahal which affords a fine view of the surroundings and Chandra Mahal converted into a museum where you can see various stuff related to the king and Jantar Mantar- one of the largest observatories in India. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur – Agra
After having breakfast you will be transferred to Agra. En-route Fatehpur Sikri and visit Panch Mahal a five-storied building, Buland Darwaza which was built to celebrate the victory of Akbar, Jodha Bai Palace made for Queen’s of Akbar with a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Next pay a pilgrimage site Tomb of Sheik Salim Chisti made to honor Sufi saint and the tomb is covered with intricately carved marble sheets. Continue your tour towards Agra. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 6: Agra
Post breakfast visit Tajmahal and enjoy mesmerizing sunrise views. It looks beyond imagination beautiful when sunrays fall on it. It was made by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Next halt at Agra Fort lying parallel to River Yamuna, built using red sand stones and within the premises, there are many Palaces with stunning architecture. Next halt will be Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah surrounded by lush green meadow also known as Baby Taj and Draft of Jewel, Akbar’s Tomb the burial point of Emperor Akbar. In the evening enjoy the mesmerizing views of Tajmahal during sunset from Mehtab Bagh. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 7: Agra –Khajuraho
In the morning after having breakfast the tour will head towards Khajuraho. Upon your arrival, you will be escorted to your pre-booked hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8: Khajuraho
Post refreshing breakfast visit Khajuraho Group of Temples declared as world heritage site by UNESCO and was made by Chandela Dynasty. Next visit will be at Kandariya Mahadev Temple dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva where the amazing murals, sculpted ceiling reflect past of Khajuraho, Lakshmana Temple which is one of the largest shrine in group of temple with stunning architecture and Ajaigarh Fort situated on hilltop bordered by Vindhya hills and offers spectacular view of Ken River. In the evening visit Raneh Falls where you will be tranquilized by the stillness and can enjoy water related sports like swimming, boating and many others. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 9: Khajuraho – Varanasi
After having breakfast you will be transferred ancient holy city – Varanasi. On reaching, check into the hotel and enjoy your dinner. Stay overnight.
Day 10: Varanasi
Start your day with refreshing breakfast and the visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple one of the 12 sacred jyotirlingas and is located near bank of River Ganga. Next visit Sarnath the place where Buddha enlightened by the lesson of Dharma, Tulsi Ghat , Ramnagar Fort lying opposite to River Ganga and comprises a museum. Later on visit ghats around the River Ganga and enjoy boat ride at Ganga with mesmerizing views of sunset. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 11: Varanasi – Delhi
Post breakfast you will be transferred to Delhi airport for your further journey.
